Mrs. Jones is currently in her 12th year of teaching theatre. She graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Theatre in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. She taught at Dunbar Middle School from 2012-2014 where her students performed numerous shows and participated in a number of local Theatre Festivals where they received individual and group accolades. During that time, she helped choreograph the Dickinson All-District Musicals, Seussical the Musical, TYA and Annie. She made McAdams her home in the fall of 2015 where she has directed The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket (UIL One-Act Play; 2nd place at District), Into the Woods, Jr, The Insanity of Mary Girard (UIL One-Act Play; 1st place at District),The Lion King, Jr, The Yellow Boat (UIL One-Act Play; 1st Place at District), and Seussical the Musical Jr, The Miracle Worker (UIL One-Act Play; 1st place at District), and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is super proud to be a Step-Mom and, now, Mom. In her spare time she continues to perform and direct at local theatres around the community. Some of her past credits include: College of the Mainland -Director (Talley's Folly), Shelby (Steel Magnolias); East-End Theatre Company - Sheila (Hair), Maggie (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Marta (Company), Philia (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum); and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park.
