I am Miss Guidry and I am excited to be one of the AWESOME educators for 7th Grade ESL and 8th Grade ESL, General Ed , and Advanced Mathematics educators at McAdams Jr High! In my class, we not only learn Mathematics but life lessons as well. We will use manipulatives and technology in class. I also use Google classroom for the teacher and student to keep abreast of what is occurring in the classroom. Having taught for 19 years, I love getting students to see that "Mathematics is like a puzzle. Write down what you know and solve for what you don't know!" Voila! That's it.
Spanish was my minor in college and I love incorporating it into all my classes. I love teaching my English Language Learners and providing a feeling of comfort for them. We use various methods to enhance comprehension of Mathematics.
