Welcome to ART! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Mrs. Gaul and this will be my 7th year in the classroom but my first year here at Kranz Junior High. I'll be teaching 8th grade Art and coaching girls' basketball for the 2020-2021 school year. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from University of Houston-Clear Lake where I specialized in Sculpture. Although we will be starting online, I'm so excited to get to meet y'all and create some amazing artwork together!
I will be posting videos to try and help make the start of this year as easy as possible, so make sure you watch those. I ask that you have paper and a pencil when attending class so that you can write things down, and recommend that you review remote instruction information and procedures to maximize your success.
I have created a Google Classroom (Class Codes are listed by class period under the Google Classroom tab) that will be updated with announcements, lessons, videos, and assignments. Make sure you check this daily and attend class via zoom so that you do not fall behind. If you have any questions or issues, please send me an email so that we can problems solve together. Right now, the plan is that you will submit your assignments through Google Classroom.
