Hello, and welcome to Barber Middle School! This is my 13th year in education and 4th year as a Dickinson Gator! My family pictured to the right consists of my husband, Jeff, my daughter Mila, and of course our dog, Diesel. Jeff and I moved to Texas 13 years ago from Ohio.
I was the first in my family to attend college and received my Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education from Kent State University in 2008. I spent 4 years teaching Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies in Deaf Education and then decided to focus on teaching 6th grade Math for an additional 5 years. This year I will continue my journey as an Instructional Interventionist for 5th and 6th grade Math and Science.
