"Drop your drama at the door! It's time for THEATRE!"

Welcome to the BMS Gator Theatre Arts Page!

Theatre, other than my family, is my greatest passion! As a teacher and director, I am in my happy place every single day as students walk into my room. My home away from home has been the stage!

In Theatre we build a community that cooperates and collaborates. We learn how to recognize and respect each other's strengths and work on our weaknesses. We celebrate differences and similarities through acts of kindness and standing ovations. Through a variety of  Theatre projects, we become more understanding, compassionate and empathetic.

Not only do the students become familiar with the elements of Theatre and grow an appreciation for it, life lessons and skills are a brought to their attention and nurtured as well.

Theatre is much more than wearing a costume and memorizing lines.  Oscar Wilde says it best, “I regard theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.".

Always remember, You Are Worthy!
