Hello parents,
Attached are a few ways to help your child learn while at home! There are online websites that are free to use, at home games you can play with your child while learning, and many more. The activities and work on this page are OPTIONAL! You are NOT required to turn this work in, these are just extra resources!
- Read! Read to you child and have them read to you!
- Practice sights words (read, write and spell) Make sight words a game: where can you find them around you, in books, on signs, etc.
- Practice spelling their first and last name
- Practice writing their letters and numbers and saying them to you
- Draw pictures and write about their picture
- Practice tying their shoes
- Talk! Ask them questions whenever you can, through a book or while out and about. Have them ask you questions as well.
