In 2005, the Texas School Counselor Association began a program called CREST to recognize schools with outstanding counseling programs. Schools receiving CREST awards have demonstrated a commitment using the Texas Model to improve the lives and achievement of students in their academic, career, and personal-social domains.

Services for Students

Classroom Lessons

Every student receives character education lessons through the Character Strong, Second Step, and Kelso's Choices curriculum. These lessons are implemented by the homeroom teachers, Specials teachers, and Mrs. Casey. 

Individual and Small Group Counseling

Students may be referred for individual or small group counseling by parents/guardians, teachers, or administrators. This counseling is short-term to meet personal, social, academic or career goals.
