Library Information:
Students typically check out 1-4 books, depending on the grade level and classroom teacher.
Library days are as follows:
Monday - Kindergarten
Tuesday - 3rd Grade (Some classes come weekly, some biweekly - Please contact your teacher if you aren't sure what schedule your class is following.)
Wednesday - 1st Grade
Thursday - 2nd Grade
Friday - 4th Grade (All classes come biweekly - Please contact your teacher if you aren't sure what schedule your class is following)
Late, Lost, and Damaged
We do not charge for late books. However, we DO charge for lost and damaged books. You will be asked for the cost to replace the book.
Water damage is one of our biggest hurdles in book care. Students should not place water bottles in the same backpack compartment as their books. Please encourage your child to use baggies or bags provided to protect their books!
Ebooks
We have many electronic/digital books available to students.

Recorded Books
We have several types of recorded books available for checkout in the library. Recorded books help all readers build fluency and listening comprehension. They are also wonderful resources for emergent readers or readers struggling with grade-level texts. These books are quite costly to replace, so the library requires a special permission slip for these books. If you are interested in allowing your child access to these books, complete the form and return it to our library.
