Howdy! My name is Rosie Galvan and I am a first grade teacher here at Hughes Road Elementary! I have been working in the childcare and early education setting for almost 14 years and this makes my very first year to be teaching 1st grade for DISD.  Needless to say I am VERY excited to be starting this wonderful and fun adventure with your child. I was born in Dallas, TX and moved to League City when I was 3 years old. I’ve attended schools all over the clear creek area…from Stewart Elementary, all the way to Clear Creek High School. But now I am a GATOR! I come from a family of very strong and brilliant teachers, many who have won District teacher of the year around this grand state of Texas. In 2019 I obtained my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I have my Bachelors in literature and my Associates in art. We are going to have a wonderful school year!
