Welcome!

I’m excited to share a bit about my journey with you! With a B.S. in Biology and a background in Biotechnology, I was on a path towards medical school when some health challenges redirected my course. At the time, my husband was teaching and this is where I discovered a passion for being around students and decided to merge my love for science with teaching.

Though teaching wasn’t my original plan, it turned out to be a fantastic fit! In my very first year, I was honored as New Teacher of the Year and was thrilled to be among the top ten for National Teacher of the Year. Now in my 15th year of education and 8th with Dickinson ISD, I’ve had the joy of teaching IPC, Conceptual Physics, Academic Physics, Pre-AP Physics, AP Physics 1, AP Environmental Science, and AP Capstone - Research.

I absolutely thrive on the learning process and love witnessing the excitement when students reach their goals and have those “aha” moments. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year ahead and am excited to work with you!
