Bienvenido a la clase de 4^to grado de la Sra. Rydlund año 2018-2019. Va a ser un año fabuloso aprendiendo matemáticas, ciencias, y estudios sociales.

Nací en Guatemala, viví en Costa Rica y Panamá, con madre Nicaragüense y padre Americano. Tengo 26 años de casada y tengo tres hijos (dos mujeres y un varón). Mi hija mayor se acaba de bachillerar de la Universidad de Texas en Austin, mi segunda hija comienza en la Universidad de Houston Main, y mi hijo comienza el séptimo grado. Soy fanática de todos los equipos profesionales de Houston! Me gusta viajar, leer e ir de compras.

Los estudiantes tendrán tarea de matemáticas de lunes a jueves. Si hay algo que su estudiante  no comprende, por favor escríbame una nota; la tarea no debería tomar más de media hora.

Por favor chequeen la ‘Carpeta Diaria’ de su estudiante todos los días. La ‘Carpeta Semanal’ normalmente va a casa todos los martes con notas y papeles con calificaciones. Es muy importante que su estudiante se aprenda las tablas de multiplicación, división, fracciones, y decimales, así es que necesitan estudiarlos por lo menos 10 minutos diarios. Welcome to Mrs. Rydlund's 4^th grade class year 2018-2019. It will be a fabulous year of learning math, science, and social studies.

I was born in Guatemala, lived in Costa Rica and Panama, with a Nicaraguan mother and American father. I have been married for 26 years and have three children (two girls and one boy). My oldest daughter has just graduated from the University of Houston at Austin, my second daughter will start at the University of Houston Main Campus, and my son is starting seventh grade. I am a fan of all of the Houston professional sports teams! I like to travel, read and shop.

Students will have math homework Monday through Thursday. If there is something that your student does not understand, please write me a note; homework should not take more than half an hour.

Please check your student's  'Daily Folder' every day. The 'Weekly Folder' normally goes home every Tuesday with notes and graded papers. It is very important that your student learn the multiplication tables, division fractions and decimals, therefore, he/she needs to study them for at least 10 minutes daily.
