Check out two fun activities for April Fool's Day!  The first is creating an unusual landscape.  The second is creating a crazy animal hybrid.  I put several examples on the assignment page but for more ideas, google "animal hybrid photoshop."

AMUSEMENT PARK WEEK

Check out this page for several other ideas for things you can do during this week.  All activities for this week will be based on Amusement Parks.  If you haven't already, check out some of the virtual rides under the April 13th tab!

VALUE- the lightness and darkness of a color.  Scroll through the examples below to either print and complete or reference while drawing to practice adding shading.  Start with creating a Value Bar, which is a rectangle that contains one color that fades from the darkest to lightest shade.   Then try sketching out a FORM (3D Shape) and add shading.  There are plenty of examples below to help guide you during this practice activity. This can be done with any color or pencil.  I would not suggest using markers for shading activities.
