Hello and welcome to Mrs. Wiggins' Fourth Grade class!
Below is all of the information you could need concerning our school closure due to Covid-19.
I will be updating this webpage and our Google Classroom at least every Monday with materials for the students to work on throughout the week. If you are not able to access Google Classroom, please contact me. If you are unable to complete the work electronically, please let me know so that I can arrange a packet of the materials to be ready for you at the school. Additionally, if you need anything (food, supplies for the assignments, or tech help), please do not hesitate to contact me!

Here are the links to some apps, games, and activities I know the kids would love to play at home! Most can be access through any device and ALL are free.
Prodigy- Students can play this through the app or the website. If they can not remember their user names or passwords, feel free to email me or contact me on Class Dojo. Prodigy
Khan Academy- This is our most used Math website at school. I will be updating it over the next few days to add some videos and assignments for the students. They can login from home using their school Google login. Khan Academy
Google Classroom- Students can login from home using their school Google login. If the link doesn't work, they can also go in directly through Google. Google Classroom
SquigglePark- SquigglePark is AWESOME!!!! It is like Prodigy, but for Reading. It is a free account and it does have an accompanying app. I have not signed the students up for a school account since they are home, so you can sign them up for a parent account through your device. I can not recommend this one more!! SquigglePark
Epic!- This is a website we use at school a lot, as well. It is so fun! It has so many audio books and e-books for the students to read from home. They love this site! It is usually a paid subscription site, but it is offering a free 30 day subscription right now! Epic!
Scholastic Learn at Home- Scholastic is uploading daily lessons and activities for kids of all ages because of school being closed. These lessons are all completely free and so fun and engaging! I highly recommend them! Scholastic Learn at Home
San Diego Zoo Kids- This website has some great games, activities, and virtual field trips. I have been playing on it with my own kids and it is so fun! San Diego Zoo kids
Yellowstone National Park Virtual Field Trip- This one is really cool too! Yellowstone is one of our largest National Parks, and it is open for kids to take a virtual field trip now! Yellowstone Field Trip
Mars Rover Virtual Field Trip- I know how much our kids love Space, so I know they will REALLY love this one! You can literally take a field trip on MARS! Access Mars Rover
3 weeks of Maker Space- This one is not an app or a website and it does require a printer and a few materials, but if you are able to supply them, the kids will love this! It is really an amazing resource! Maker Space
DreamBox- This is an awesome Math problem solving site that has so many fun games and activities. It is usually pretty expensive to sign-up, but it is offering a free 90 day subscription right now! DreamBox
