This is a great resource you can use at home! It is free to sign up, and easy to use. It provides videos for the students to watch that will walk them through how to solve specific types of problems, as well as practice problems for them to try independently. 

If your child is struggling with a specific topic, just go to:

-Courses

-Select 5th grade math

-Click the topic they need to work on

-Watch the videos and work the practice problems

This is a fun way for your child to practice the topics covered in class in the format of a game! The students are able to work math problems while building things and battling other players. I use this frequently in class and the students love to get to play!

To access at home: 

-Click the link provided

-Your child will them log in using the username and password they already had, or log in with google

-To log in with google at home you click

-log in with google

-Sign into google using your child's DickinsonISD email and password (birthday).

-Username: DISD(studentID#)@apps.dickinsonisd.org

-Password: Disd(MMDDYYYY)
