This is my 7th year teaching and my 3rd year in Texas. I am a single mom of 4 and also a published author. I graduated from Glen Oaks High School in Baton Rouge, LA in the top 30 of my class. I have my Bachelor's in Business/Human Resource Management and my Master's in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading Interventions. My syllabus will give you a general idea of what you can expect in your History class this year. My goal is to set high expectations so that each of my students at Dunbar Middle School grow in all aspects of life as they proceed through middle school, junior high, high school, and eventually, college and entering the workforce.
