Welcome to DHS Physics!  My name is Mrs. Scheafnocker (previously-Howe).  I have been teaching for 13 years at DHS.  I have taught Biology, Chemistry, IPC, Forensics and Physics.    I have four degrees: MS in Biochemistry (Genetics), MA in Criminology, BS in Biology and an AA in Technical Theater. For six years, I was a volunteer coach for Dickinson's Special Olympics' program. I have four children who have all attended schools in DISD.  Julia graduated in 2019 from Collegiate High School with her Associates of Arts along with her Dickinson High School diploma.   Due to her graduating with a college degree, she was able to join the Air Force this summer as an E-3 Officer.  Abbey is a junior who plays snare drum on DHS drum line and is involved with the AVID program.  Maddy is a sophomore who is involved with ROTC and art .  Victoria is a second grader at Calder Road Elementary.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year at DHS Physics!
The mission of the Dickinson Independent School District is to ensure that all students have successful learning opportunities that help them reach their full potential and add quality throughout their lives.
