I am so excited to be a First Grade teacher at Calder! I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. (Then I married an Aggie.) We have two daughters who have grown up in Dickinson. I have been teaching at Calder since it opened 11 years ago.
I love going to many Dickinson events, especially Gator football games to see the band since both of my daughters were Dickinson drum majors. My youngest daughter, Claire, is a freshman at University of Houston main campus. Loren is a junior at University of Houston at Clear Lake. I also enjoy playing in a handbell choir and flying in airplanes with my husband. We have a cat named Fuego who likes to play fetch, and Josie a cat we rescued after Harvey.
I will provide an enjoyable, safe, and structured learning environment for your child. I know that together we can make it a very successful First Grade Year.
