Hello All!!

Welcome to home-school with a twist!   Here is where you will find resources to help you maneuver through these unchartered waters.

As you all know, we are not expected to return back to school this school year!  Please go to my School at Home  tab to find math and science assignments.  You can find Language Arts and Social Studies Activities on Amy Sanchez’s webpage.

Beginning Monday, April 20, the DISD Food and Nutrition Department will be transitioning to providing meals three days each week.  This move will help limit the exposure of our FNS staff as much as possible while still providing nutritious meals to our students.  Meals will be provided for five days with the following schedule:

Monday – 1 breakfast meal and 1 hot lunch meal

Tuesday – 2 breakfast meals and 1 hot lunch meal and 1 cold lunch meal

Thursday – 2 breakfast meals and 1 hot lunch meal and 1 cold lunch meal

The meal distribution will still take place from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Dickinson High School (Owens Drive side) for all DISD students.  In order to receive the meals, students must be present in the car or the parent must provide a valid student identification for each child.

My office hours are located under the contact tab.

Grades: Can be accessed through Skyward.

No Technology: Parents who have reported to their teacher that they do not have access to technology are encouraged to pick up packets at the school on Monday from 12 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.   We are teaching new skills, so if you are able to access technology, that is by far the best method of learning our new skills.  If you do not have access to technology, please keep in contact with me about any questions you may have about the new skills being taught.  Everyone should have my personal phone number and my email is listed under my picture.

Thanks for all you are doing from home to help out with your student's learning!

Important COVID-19 school closure information

At this time, the school closure for Dickinson ISD and all Houston/Galveston County school districts is through the end of the school year.

We can't stress enough the importance of following updates on social media, the district website and phone calls and emails from the district, campuses and teachers during the school closure to stay up to date with the most recent information. Please remember that phone calls from teachers could come up on caller ID as "unknown number," so it is important to answer those phone calls.

We thank you for your patience during this time as we continue to work quickly to provide support to our students and their families.
