In the first nine weeks, we will cover:  place value (whole number and decimal values), adding and subtracting whole numbers and decimals, multiplication (including up to 4 digits x 1 digit; 2 digit x 2 digit; and problem solving with multiplication)

In the second nine weeks, we will cover: division and algebraic reasoning.

In the third nine weeks, we will cover:  fractions, number patterns, and area/perimeter.

In the fourth nine weeks, we will cover: geometry, measurement and data analysis.

 

Personal financial literacy will be covered throughout the year.

  • How to conduct research using various sources
  • Texas Revolution
  • Texas Independence
  • Republic of Texas
  • Annexation of Texas
  • Civil War
  • Economics
  • Innovations in technology
