About Mrs. Coleman (Brown)

This is Mrs. Coleman’s 9th year of teaching, and second year at Dickinson HS. Prior to becoming a Dickinson Gator, she taught Technical Theatre at Ball High School in Galveston. Mrs. Coleman also taught theatre at the Jr. High level at the beginning of her career in Alvin ISD. Throughout her teaching career she has been the Technical Director of numerous plays and all-district musicals, as well as the director of several One Act Plays and musicals. Mrs. Coleman is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her BFA in Theatre Studies in 2013. Outside of teaching theatre she is also a licensed skydiver, USPA coach, and a State Skydiving Record holder. When she is not in the theatre, Mrs. Coleman enjoys spending her free weekends jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. Mrs. Coleman recently got married and they are the proud fur parents to 3 adorable pups!
