Classroom Expectations:
Try YOUR best. Remember that your best may be different from someone else's best. Just do what you can.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T! (in my best Aretha Franklin voice) Always remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. You can respect others by using kind words, giving personal space, and not touching anyone else. You can also respect property by asking before you borrow something, and picking up your own trash. Be respectful of everyone's ideas and opinions.
Be here now. Participate in class. Ask a question if you don't understand, or answer a question if you know the topic. Keep conversation on task. Listen closely to the speaker.
Follow safety protocols/rules. You are welcome to wear a mask if you choose to do so. Always sanitize your hands after you sneeze and before/after you use the restroom.
Come to class prepared. Have your pencil and other materials for class available and ready to use.
Choose a spot where you will do your best. Sit in a place that allows you to see the front board clearly, and where you will not be distracted.
SLANT. (Sit up straight/Listen/Ask and answer questions/Nod your head/Track the speaker)
