Second 9 weeks:

November 5th - November 30th 

We will have a test over elements and compounds Tuesday November 6th. The students need to able to tell the difference betweem elements and compounds, including breaking down formulas. They also need to know what the main elements are in each of the 4 spheres of the Earth. 

Starting November 7th we will learn about metals, non-metals, and metaliods. Followed by density. This year the students will start to calculate density. This can be challenging but please encourage them to stick with it and take thier time. We will test Metals, Non-metals, and metaliods November 30th when we return from Thanksgiving break.
