Students should be reading nightly on Learning Ally or a book of their choice.  Students should be able to discuss their book in detail to you or another adult.  Learning Ally is an audio book resource for students.  Each student should know their log in.  If the app is downloaded onto a computer or cell phone, students have full access to hundreds of books.
