Welcome to my class this school year!  This is my 8th year teaching and I am very excited to be here at DHS. Your child is enrolled in my English-RISE class and I am looking forward to a successful year. I have high expectations for my students and will be doing my best to help him/her achieve their highest potential.

Our class will be using a variety of different texts, websites, such as Google Classroom, Learning Ally, Fast Forward and other appropriate material to make this year a success.  Vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills will be assessed throughout the year.  Occasionally, film/videos will be used in the classroom in order to illustrate a particular curricular-related concept.
