Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. I will be your child's 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. I grew up in Galveston County, but moved away when I married my husband 25 years ago. We have two children - one in high school and one in college.

I have been in education for 10 years - first as a substitute teacher and then a classroom teacher with a focus on English. This is my 9th year teaching middle school and it is the group of students that I like the best! I earned a degree in Literature from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2004. 

I am so excited to be part of the Lobit Middle School family and am happy to be back "home." I love spending time with my family, watching Netflix, reading, and I can't wait to get back to Minute Maid Park and enjoy those Astros games!
