Week of April 6

This week you will create two-dimensional shapes based on given attributes, including number of sides and vertices AND classify and sort polygons with 12 or fewer sides according to attributes, including identifying the number of sides and number of vertices.

- Login to ThinkCentral using your DISD login. I have assigned lessons 14.1, 14.2, and 14.4. Please try to watch one lesson per day. If you're having trouble logging in, please let me know.

- Watch Recognizing shapes video.

- Khan Academy - name shapes practice

- Polygon Shape Shoot - play for 10 minutes.

- Review standard algorithm (optional)

- Draw shapes in Google Drawings.

- Fill out google forms about shapes. (Questions should follow 14.2 lesson from ThinkCentral).

- Prodigy - 3x a week (20 min)

- Flipgrid - create a flipgrid video on finding a polygon and describing what shape it is, how many vertices it has and how many sides it has. (Login to flipgrid using your google login).
