Element Squares
08/28/2018

Students who wish to decorate an element square for the periodic wall of elements may do so for the equivalent of one homework grade. (Projects that meet the requirements will replace a student's lowest homework score).

Requirements:

The element square is to be a 5" by 5" square sheet of paper that includes the atomic number, atomic symbol, atomic mass, and name of the element that the student signs up for with Ms. Hieken (first come, first served). Designs should be creative and represent the element or its common uses (ex. picture of balloons for He, salt shaker for Na, or batteries for Li).

The mission of the Dickinson Independent School District is to ensure that all students have successful learning opportunities that help them reach their full potential and add quality throughout their lives.
