Google Classroom

Hi everyone. Mrs. Adams and I created a Google Classroom for students to write us and reach out to each other. We would love to stay connected and see how everyone is doing through this unusual experience.

Through Google Classroom, we have a GOOD NEWS post at the bottom where children can tell us each day their good news. This is something we did every morning in class. A small goal is for the students to type their good news each morning through the website.

We also have classroom assignments at the top. We do not have any expectations for assignments as of right now. They are there as a resource for you to use. We will try to add some weekly. 

If you have any questions, e-mail Mrs. Adams and I or message us on the Remind app. We miss the kids!

How to Set Up?

It is easy to access once you set it up!

1. Go to classroom.google.com

2. You as a parent cannot sign in. Your child has to sign in with their school e-mail. If you do not know their school e-mail, it is at the top of their profile page in Skyward. All student usernames and passwords follow a common formula.

Username: DISD(all caps)lunch number @apps.dickinsonisd.org

Password: DisdBirthday Ex:Disd08311987

3. Push the plus button to join our classroom. Type in out code. 4jnoh67

Office Hours: I will be checking my phone/e-mail from 8:00-4:00 every day to answer e-mails and questions. If you need a phone conference, however, I will be available from 10:00-12:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please let me know how I can help you during this stressful time!
