Daily Folder

A behavior chart will come home in this folder. Please initial daily so that I know you have seen it.

This folder will also contain daily work and activities. It's best to go over these things with your child as it reinforces learning and gives you an idea of how your child is doing academically. Please do not send daily work back to school.

You can send notes to school in the daily folder. I will send home notes from school in the daily folder. Every Monday, look for a "Peek at the Week" to know what's going on in our classroom!

Transportation Changes

If you have any changes to your child's AFTERNOON transportation, I MUST HAVE A NOTE. If a note is not sent to school with your child, I have to send them home their regular way.

Bus changes require a call to the transportation department, 281.229.7300.

Lunch

Our lunch time is 10:00 - 10:30. Your child may bring a lunch from home or buy a lunch from the cafeteria.

You can put money in your child's account online at lunchmoneynow.com or you can send money to school with your child and I will make sure it gets to the cafeteria.

Absences

If your child is absent, please send a note to school and include your child's name, the date of the absence, the reason for the absence, and sign and date it. I will turn the note into the office.

Snack Time

We have snack each afternoon around 2:00. Because our lunch is at 10 am, I encourage you to send a snack as little guys and gals are tired and hungry from a full day of fun and learning!

I will not provide a snack due to allergies and food preferences. Your child may buy a snack in the morning from the cafeteria. Please do not send snacks that require refrigeration or utensils. You may send a water bottle, no juice please as sometimes we spill and it makes a sticky mess.
