    Hi and welcome to Bay Colony Elementary. My name is Paige Thompson (Coach T) and I will be the PE teacher at Bay Colony for the 2023 - 2024 school year which makes this my 12th year to teach physical education! I am very excited about the upcoming school year!

     I have played sports almost my entire life and also coached the Houston Astro's Strength & Conditioning camp for several years.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Fitness and Nutrition.  I did my intern at Medifit Care as an exercise physiologist and then received my teacher certification after that.

     I look forward to teaching your children physical education and the importance being active has towards a healthy lifestyle.  I believe attitude and effort are an important part of my PE class as well.  I will teach my students about exercise, nutrition, teamwork, health, good sportsmanship and how to have a positive attitude while having fun in PE!
