Update and Greetings Lobit Middle School Theater Stars and Parents:

With the advent of COVID-19, and the uncertainty of when school will resume, Lobit Middle School will not be performing a major musical this Spring. This decision is not made lightly as it affects all 6th graders.

However, we will continue to monitor the situation, and if possible, we will put together a smaller-scale production that could still include other students outside Choir and Theatre Arts. Check back here for updates!

The show must go on!

Reminder:

*6th Graders- best actors/actresses please continue to rehearse your monologues!! And, enjoy watching movies and think about the aspects of production and what goes on behind the scenes.

*5th Graders- please try and watch the movie, Sing! Look for the all the theatrical aspects of theater productions such as; auditions and being successful on stage. The world is your stage and you are the STAR!!

Sincerely, Ms. Pignataro

Hi and Welcome to the wonderful World of Theater Arts at Lobit Middle School. My name is Nuccia Pignataro and I am excited to be your "Drama Mama" Theater Arts Director! I am 100% Italian, born and raised in the USA!
I have many years experience in the film and television industry, as well as, directing and acting in movies and shows such as,  Annie, A Chorus Line, Oklahoma, 42nd Street, plus many more. In my earlier years I also taught dance at The Theater Under the Stars in Houston, TX. I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake and got my teaching certificate from Sam Houston State University in Theater Arts and Speech.

One of my greatest productions that I am most proud of is my 10 year old identical twin boys., who are also at Lobit Middle School. They have been very successful in several movies and television commercials. We spend our free time working with our agent, pursuing our modeling and acting professionally.

My goal for my students is that they develop the self confidence and courage that it takes to become a successful artist or public speaker in any aspect of their lives. I look forward to working with Mrs. Haynes, the choir director. We are excited to produce some fun shows starring the students of Lobit in their upcoming year in THEATER ARTS!
