Syllabus

Hi everyone! My name is Nicholas Glaeser and I teach 5th grade math at Barber Middle School!

 -

This is my 8th year of teaching with this year being my 6th year at Barber Middle School.  I am originally from Northern Wisconsin, and yes, I am a HUGE fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers!  Over the past couple years of teaching, I have incorporated several technology based learning platforms used daily in my classroom, which will make virtual learning seamless for all students.  I truly believe all students can learn and grow from virtual learning, however, it WILL take time and effort from the kids.

The purpose of the college conferences at Barber Middle School is not only to promote colleges to students, but also is a quick way for our campus to complete dismissal, speaker gatherings, or any time we need to move mass amounts of students not part of the regular schedule.

The Sunbelt Conference is comprised of 4 core classes (math, reading, science, and social studies) in which a specific group of students rotate throughout a school day.  There are roughly 100 students per college conference at Barber Middle School and 7 college conferences.
