For assistance using Distance Learning please click on the blue rectangle on the left side on this page titled Distance Learning. I will continue to add information as we grow together over the next few weeks. Also, you can ALWAYS email me. I love hearing from you.

Remember: Virtual Etiquette reminder:  Students please remember that although we are not in a physical classroom, we are still in a learning environment. Please do not post inappropriate comments on chat or say things on your microphone that would be unprofessional. Teachers will permanently disable your individual chat or disable microphone if necessary. I trust each of you to continue on as we normally do and to continue to show respect for each other, help out others if you can. Remember if you can discuss the lesson with someone, you have a better chance of learning, if you can teach it to someone, then you have learned it! Try teaching one simple problem example to someone in your house.

As we all continue to adjust to this new time in education and the world....remember this, I'm super excited to meet you all and get to know you. You bring me smiles, laughter and joy every day. You are the reason I do what I do and why I love every single day of teaching.

This too shall pass and I wait eagerly for the day we can be in our classroom together. Until that day, please know that I am here for you, just an email away. Stay safe, stay healthy and keep on "mathing".

Please take a few minutes each day to check your Skyward email as I am sending you something each weekday just to check in. I look forward to the day we can meet and would love to hear from you! Remember, you are my daily smile! HUGS!

Something fun to try!Sides of a Triangle

Directions: The perimeter of a triangle is 20 units. Using whole numbers, how many sets of side lengths can you find for this triangle?

Can one of the side lengths be 10? Why or why not?
Can one of the side lengths be 20? or more than 20? Why or why not?
What is true about the sum of any two sides of a triangle compared to the third side?
Is a triangle with the sides 3, 4, 5 different than a triangle with the sides 4, 5, 3? Does the order matter?
