Lobit Middle School Choir Schedule

The LMS Choir is performing the mini-musical, Bugz, with the Theatre Arts classes in October. This show is given for the Kindergarten and First grade classes of Lobit Elementary. It is an opportunity for the Elementary to see a live show, and for our students to practice the new skills they are learning in Choir and Theatre Arts.

Parents are always welcome to come and see all shows. "Bugz" will be performed twice: once during the school day for the Elementary students, and once in the evening for families. We are currently working with the Principals from both campuses to et a date. Further details to follow soon.

We have a new Theatre Arts teacher this year: Mrs. Pignataro!! We are glad to have her on board and look forward to many wonderful hours of collaboration between Theatre Arts and Choir!

The mini-musical for the fall is "Bugz" by John Jacobson and John Higgins. This kid-friendly musical features an array of bugs who are planning to attend a picnic. The Lady Bugs are in charge of proper etiquette, the Army Ants will handle security, the Fireflies are in charge of lighting, and entertainment will be provided by the Bumble Bees. Just when it looks like everything is set, the Stink Bug announces he wants to come too!

Come on down to Lobit Middle School for a country-style hoedown to help the "Bugz" rescue their picnic!

The mission of the Dickinson Independent School District is to ensure that all students have successful learning opportunities that help them reach their full potential and add quality throughout their lives.
