Blayne Saldana - Welcome!
Blayne Saldana
Blayne Saldana is new to the teaching profession, but he is ready to teach and learn! Blayne grew up in Webster, TX where he attended and graduated from Clear Brook High School.  It was there where he discovered his love for History and Film. In 2009, he started his college studies at Blinn College in Brenham, TX where he received an Associates Degree in History in 2012. From 2012-2016, Blayne attended Sam Houston State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications in Film with a History minor with the possibility of teaching. While at Sam Houston, he worked on some film productions and involved himself with the German Club. Upon graduation, he started working at Texas A&M doing security for the campus. While employed he worked on his Special Education certification through Texas Teachers. In 2017, while working on his certification, he became a substitute for Pasadena ISD, where he taught ABLE II; a program for higher functioning autistic students, in which he taught social skills. 
The mission of the Dickinson Independent School District is to ensure that all students have successful learning opportunities that help them reach their full potential and add quality throughout their lives.
