Services for Students:

Classroom Lessons

Every student receives character education lessons throughout the school year through our Character Building Specials time with Mrs. Anderson and through classroom instruction with Mrs. DeMartino.

Small Group Counseling

Group counseling is available to all students.  Most groups occur during lunch time.  Some of the small group topics include: friendship, family changes, grief, social skills, anger management, and anxiety.

Individual Counseling

Students may be referred for individual counseling by themselves, parents/guardians, teachers, or administrators.  This counseling is short-term to meet social, emotional, and/or behavioral goals.

        Services for Parents:

• Referrals to community resources
• Improving parent-child communication
• Information to help understand your child's unique needs
• Understanding the developmental changes of childhood.

• Start with Hello Week (Social Awareness)
• Unity Day (focusing on standing up to Bullying)
• Random Acts of Kindness Month Activities
• Donuts with Dear Ones
• Career Day
• Safety and Emergency Training for School and Home (stranger awareness, fire safety, bike safety, personal body safety, etc.)
• Character Strong, Restorative Practices, Second Step, Kelso's Choices
