Amy Smith, Principal
Ms. Amy Smith was born and raised in Texas City and Santa Fe, Texas. She has been in education since 1990 and has worked with students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade as a teacher and administrator. While growing up, Ms. Smith spent a lot of time working in her father's drug store, Mainland Pharmacy, in Texas City. Ms. Smith has one son, Andrew, who proudly serves as a police officer.  Ms. Smith loves working with staff and students and she couldn't imagine working in any other career field. On weekends and breaks from school Ms. Smith and Andrew enjoy spending time on their family property in east Texas watching wildlife. Ms. Smith loves animals and keeps Great Danes as her favorite pets. She currently has three Great Danes.
Julie O'Gea, Assistant Principal
 

Mrs. O’Gea is living the dream as an educator and has served in education in many capacities – Teacher, AVID Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Administrator. She loves working in education and cannot imagine doing anything else. As a graduate of Dickinson High School, Mrs. O’Gea prides herself in being a lifelong Gator. She earned her undergraduate degree at University of Houston - Clear Lake and her Master of Education in Administration at Lamar University. In her spare time, Mrs. O’Gea loves to read, spend time with family, and play with her four sweet rescue dogs. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, singing, and laughing.
